Bio
Dr. Arnold Paulo is a fellowship-trained hospice and palliative care physician at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. His areas of expertise include:
- Managing complex symptoms of serious illnesses related to underlying disease or side effects of treatment
- Helping patients plan advanced directives to document their preferences for care
- Keeping patients informed about their disease and what happens next
Also board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Paulo believes that understanding his patients’ social, mental and physical well-being enables him to provide the best possible care. He values the relationships he has with his patients and their families.
Dr. Paulo’s Training
He graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Paulo earned his degree in medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia and performed his fellowship in hospice and palliative care at AdventHealth in Orlando.
