Dr. Benjamin Cornett is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He has cared for patients in Central Florida since 2013 and specializes in oncologic, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and emergency imaging.
He also is proficient in all modalities of diagnostic radiology and magnetic resonance (MR), computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound-guided procedures. He has developed and implemented new imaging protocols in body MR.
Dr. Cornett’s priority is to deliver top-notch care to patients while treating them the way he would a family member.
Dr. Cornett’s Training
He earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa and completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine in Gainesville. He was chief resident in his final year. Dr. Cornett’s fellowship in hybrid body imaging also was performed at UF, where he received advanced training in abdominal imaging; computed tomography/ultrasound-guided interventions; protocol development; and nuclear medicine/positron emission tomography.

Dr. Cornett is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, Radiology Society of North America, Association of University Radiologists and American Alliance of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology.
Outside of work, he is a fan of the Florida Gators and Orlando Magic. He cherishes being a father and husband and also enjoys basketball, golf, hiking and surfing.
