Bio
Dr. Bruce Dixon is a board-certified and fellowship trained interventional pain physician with the Orlando Health Spine Center, a multidisciplinary collaboration between Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. Dr. Dixon works with patients who suffer from chronic pain and determines the best option to help them feel relief, whether it be through surgery or non-invasive treatment. His services include:

- Spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation

Dr. Dixon decided to pursue a career in pain management in order to ease suffering and bring relief to his patients. As such, he considers all aspects of his patients’ lives in order to achieve the best medical outcomes.
Dr. Dixon’s Training
Dr. Dixon earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, where he graduated magna cum laude and with honors. He completed an anesthesiology residency with the University of Central Florida in Orlando followed by a pain medicine fellowship with Louisiana State University.
About Dr. Dixon
Dr. Dixon is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine with the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is affiliated with the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the International Neuromodulation Society, among other medical organizations.
His research topics include spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, minimally invasive sacroiliac joint fusion and minimally invasive lumbar decompression.
Outside of work, Dr. Dixon enjoys sports, traveling, nature, spending time with his family and playing with his dog.
