Bio
Dr. Calvin Leung is a cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute specializing in interventional cardiology. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and echocardiography, and his expertise includes:

Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Leung was the lead interventional cardiologist and cardiac catheterization lab director at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Leung’s Training
Dr. Leung earned his medical degree at Albany Medical College in New York. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Leung completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Leung is board certified by the American Board of Echocardiography. He also is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Leung has held academic appointments at Dartmouth Medical School, where he was honored for excellence in teaching, and the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
He has written peer-reviewed medical research papers on topics including cardiac catheterization, pulmonary hypertension, stenting and heart failure and has presented his work at national conferences.
