Bio
Candice Wilson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) with Orlando Health Physician Associates specializing in pediatrics. Her experience includes:
- Newborn nursery care
- Pediatric medical and surgery care
- Pediatric cardiac intensive care
Candice has more than a decade of nursing experience at Central Florida medical facilities first as a pediatric registered nurse (RN), then as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
Candice’s Training
Candice received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Southern University and A&M College School of Nursing in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her master's degree in nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Maryville University in St. Louis.
About Candice
Candice is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She also is licensed as an RN and APRN by the Florida Department of Health. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Chi Eta Phi Sorority, a professional organization for nurses.
Her teaching experience includes roles as an assistant professor of nursing at Florida Southern College in Lakeland and adjunct professor of nursing at Rasmussen University and Seminole State College, both in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
