Caroline Craver is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. She works with orthopedic surgeons to diagnose and treat patients, and she specializes in injuries to the hands and upper extremities. Caroline is experienced in:
- Surgical incision, drainage, debridement and dressing of wounds
- Complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Patient education and preventive care
- Medical prescriptions
She also worked as a nursing assistant in the emergency room at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she provided orthopedic splinting; traction on patients with femur fractures; and aid to surgical residents to fix dislocated shoulders, hips, knees and elbows.
She believes her time in the ER and helping care for her own family solidified her desire to provide higher levels of health care.
Caroline’s Training
Caroline earned her master’s degree in physician assistant science at South University in Tampa. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Caroline is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Florida Department of Health. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, reading, going to the gym, traveling and in-line skating.
