Dr. Catherine Chan is a board-certified gynecologic surgeon with Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. Her specialties include:

Dr. Chan is committed to empowering patients and supporting them throughout their treatment journey. She has specific interests in patient advocacy, education, empowerment, physician training and surgical simulation.
Dr. Chan’s Training
Dr. Chan received her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine and a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and complex benign gynecology at Northwell Health in Manhasset, New York.
About Dr. Chan
Dr. Chan is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional memberships include the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
She has delivered numerous presentations and written book chapters on topics related to complex benign gynecology and gynecologic surgery. Dr. Chan is also deeply involved in medical education through mentoring pre-medical students and medical trainees, and she has played a key role in developing surgical simulation curricula.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
