Dr. Chirin Orabi is a fellowship-trained pulmonologist at Orlando Health Medical Group Lung and Sleep Medicine. She specializes in critical care medicine and obstructive lung disease but treats a variety of illnesses affecting the respiratory tract, including:
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Cystic fibrosis
- Emphysema
- Asthma
Dr. Orabi believes that treating patients with kindness, humility and compassion—as if they were her family— is critical in earning their trust.
Dr. Orabi’s Training
Dr. Orabi earned her medical degree from the University of Kalamoon in Syria. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Central Florida in Orlando and a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Orabi is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is affiliated with the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
Her research has been published more than half a dozen times in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine alone.
Outside of work, Dr. Orabi enjoys yoga, playing the violin and traveling. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
