Christina Covelli, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute. She specializes in preventing, diagnosing and treating digestive tract, liver and pancreatic disorders and has special interest in irritable bowel syndrome and colorectal cancer.

Dr. Covelli’s Training
As an undergraduate, Dr. Covelli double majored in zoology and chemistry at North Carolina State University in Raleigh before earning her medical degree at the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville. She went on to complete postdoctoral training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, including a residency in internal medicine, fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology, and master’s degree in public health.
