Bio
Dr. Christopher Polonio is a board-certified family medicine physician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. He focuses on primary care for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with expertise in:
- Patient diagnosis and treatment planning
- Chronic disease management
- Preventive care
- Patient education
- Women's health
- Contraception procedures
Dr. Polonio strives to deliver comprehensive care that is accessible, continuous and holistic. He believes in building long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Dr. Polonio’s Training
Dr. Polonio earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences at Florida International University in Miami and received his medical training from the Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados. He completed a family medicine residency at Aspirus Health in Wausau, Wisconsin, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Polonio is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. His professional memberships include the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and Phi Delta Epsilon.
During his residency, Dr. Polonio earned the Aspirus Health Joy Award for teaching medical students with happiness, celebrating student and academic success and consistently contributing to a positive learning environment.
Outside of work, Dr. Polonio enjoys tennis, horror movies and taking cruises.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
