Christy Johnson is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with Orlando Health Medical Group, specializing in urology. She evaluates and treats patients with a variety of general urology and urologic oncology conditions, and her expertise includes:
- Surgical first assist in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery
- Prostate and bladder conditions
- Low testosterone
- Kidney stones
- Erectile dysfunction
- Difficult catheter insertion

Christy’s Training
Christy received her bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of Florida in Gainesville, graduating cum laude. She earned her master’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
About Christy
Before joining Orlando Health in 2019, Christy served as a critical care PA and also worked on a research project studying deep brain stimulation therapy on patients affected by Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
Christy is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and American Urological Association.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors and traveling.
