Bio
Dr. Claire Lis is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Breast Care and Gynecologic Cancer Center at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She specializes in breast imaging, and her expertise includes:
- Screening and diagnostic mammography
- Breast ultrasound and MRI
- Image-guided breast procedures
- 3D mammography
- Stereotactic breast core needle biopsy
- MRI-guided breast biopsy
- Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy
Dr. Lis aims to make sure every patient feels supported while receiving high-quality and personalized care. She believes in a compassionate, patient-centered approach that puts each person and their loved ones at the heart of everything she does.
Dr. Lis’ Training
Dr. Lis earned a bachelor's degree in science, technology and values at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, graduating cum laude. She received her medical degree from Boston University and completed her radiology residency, abdominal imaging fellowship and breast imaging fellowship at the University of California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Lis is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, including case studies on breast exams, and has been a resident lecturer at UCLA for the advanced elective in radiology and a resident teaching at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Outside of work, Dr. Lis enjoys tennis and musical theater.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
