Dr. Mercer firmly believes that an integral part of her role as a healthcare provider is educating her patients on how to take better care of themselves so they can take greater control of their health and feel improvement.
Dr. Mercer earned her medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She completed her family medicine residency with the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg. She also studied medical technology at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville.
Dr. Mercer is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and photography. A lover of animals, she also has a small farm.
