Courtney Summers, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with Orlando Health Physician Associates Family Medicine. Knowing health affects nearly every aspect of her patients’ lives, Courtney wants to equip them with the knowledge and tools they need for better health. In addition to patients with acute and chronic conditions, she also sees adults and seniors with everyday needs such as physicals, well-person visits, and treatment for cuts, infections and more.
Patient-Centered Care
Courtney believes in patient-centered care and attention for each patient. She is dedicated to preventative care and ongoing wellness, and helps patients assess, monitor and maintain their health.
To help them stay on track, she provides adult well-care visits, health-risk assessments, and screenings. Those who wish to improve their health by lowering their blood pressure or cholesterol and increasing their fitness level will find continued support. Courtney works with them to set reasonable long-term health goals and offers encouragement every step of the way.
She also sees patients with a range of conditions from common illnesses to complex diseases, delivering comprehensive care, education and counseling about lifestyle choices and changes.
About Courtney Lemming
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in nursing and graduating with honors from Nova Southeastern University, Courtney earned her master’s degree in nursing/family nurse practitioner from the University of Central Florida.
She has presented her work frequently throughout her career and was previously recognized as employee of the month during her time at Orlando Health - Health Central Hospital.
