Courtney M. Paradise, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist with the Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital Center for Advanced Gynecology & Minimally Invasive Surgery. Her areas of interest include minimally invasive surgery and treatment of pelvic pain.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Dr. Paradise has extensive experience in minimally invasive surgical procedures, which are beneficial for many reasons. They typically result in:
- Small incisions
- Less pain
- Low risk of infection
- Shorter or no hospital stay
- Quicker recovery time
- Less scarring
- Reduced blood loss
Two minimally invasive procedures Dr. Paradise performs are:
- Robotic-assisted surgery featuring a high-definition, 3D system and special instruments that enable her to operate with enhanced vision, precision, dexterity and control.
- Endoscopic procedures are non-robotic. Dr. Paradise uses a specially-designed instrument with a miniature camera and light on the end, which is inserted through a tiny incision and allows her to see in "real time" as she operates.
Dr. Paradise’s Training
