Bio
Cristina Gonzalez is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She has worked at the cancer institute since 2019 and specializes in breast diagnostics and caring for breast cancer survivors. Her expertise includes:
- Breast pain
- Benign breast disease management
- High-risk surveillance
- Mastitis
- Breast lumps
Cristina believes every patient deserves to be treated with dignity, empathy and individualized attention. She strives to make personal connections while taking care of each patient.
Cristina’s Training
Cristina earned a bachelor's degree in health sciences at the University of Central Florida in Orlando and received her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Florida International University in Miami.
About Cristina
Cristina is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Before joining Orlando Health, she worked as a patient care technician and a research assistant. Cristina also served as a volunteer certified nursing assistant at Shepherd’s Hope, which provides free medical services to uninsured and underinsured men, women and children in Central Florida.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, arts and crafts, exercising, baking and reading.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
