Dr. Crystal Verdick is a fellowship-trained pulmonary disease specialist with Orlando Health Medical Group Lung and Sleep Medicine. She has been associated with Orlando Health since 2019 and treats conditions that include:
- Lung conditions
- Critical care issues
- Sleep disorders
Dr. Verdick also is board-certified in internal medicine and fellowship-trained in critical care and pulmonary medicine.
Dr. Verdick’s Training
Dr. Verdick earned her medical degree from the University of Pikeville – Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at Southeastern Regional Hospital – Campbell University in Lumberton, North Carolina.
Her fellowships in critical care medicine and in pulmonary disease were performed at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she served as administrative chief fellow.
She earned her master’s degree in anatomy at Saint Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.

Dr. Verdick is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, American Medical Women’s Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Physicians and American College of Osteopathic Physicians.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, knitting, crocheting, roller derby and rugby.
