Dana Salcedo is a certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner (AGPCNP-C) with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She has more than 20 years of experience administering chemotherapy, managing treatment side effects and performing stem-cell collections. Her expertise includes:

  • Hematology
  • Benign hematology
  • Solid tumors
  • Cancer-related breakthrough pain

She provides compassionate, evidence-based care that treats the whole person and not just the disease. Her approach is grounded in respect, empathy and partnership while recognizing that each patient’s journey with cancer is unique.

Dana’s Training

Dana earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of West Florida in Pensacola and received her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) on the adult gerontology primary care track from South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she was a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society.

About Dana

Dana is certified as an AGPCNP and advanced oncology certified nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and she is licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in Florida.                                                                

Dana volunteers for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, traveling and all things Disney.
