Dana Salcedo is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. Since 2004, she has worked in Florida administering chemotherapy, managing treatment side effects and performing stem-cell collections. Her experience includes:
- Assessing and diagnosing illnesses
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests
- Analyzing prescriptions to minimize the risk of adverse drug reactions
Dana’s Training
Dana earned her Master of Science in nursing (MSN) with an adult-gerontology primary care specialty from South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she was a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of West Florida in Pensacola.

Dana is certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP-C) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has spent several years volunteering for Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
