Dr. Kitner has lectured dozens of times for medical congresses and conferences on topics that include arterial hypertension in the elderly, antiaging therapies and the role of vitamins, the use of probiotics and longevity medicine.
He has presented or published nearly three dozen scientific studies on subjects such as abdominal hernias, colorectal tumors and thrombosis. He is the author of three books — one about geriatrics and two on internal medicine — and has contributed chapters to several other books on subjects such as depression, geriatrics and gerontology, and preventing AIDS.
Dr. Kitner is married and has three children.
