Dr. Daniel Murphy is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. With 32 years of experience, his specialties include:

Dr. Murphy’s Training
Dr. Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and received his medical degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Murphy is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with special qualification in orthopedic sports medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and his professional memberships include the Florida Medical Association, Hillsborough County Medical Association, Florida Orthopaedic Society, American College of Sports Medicine and NFL Physicians Society.
Dr. Murphy serves as a team physician for the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
