Bio
Dr. Danielle Henry is a board-certified surgeon with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute Breast Care Center, specializing in surgical oncology. Her expertise includes:

- Angiosarcoma
- Inflammatory breast cancer
- Paget’s disease
- Lymphadenectomy
- Nipple neurotization

Her clinical interests include high-risk breast cancer groups, such as genetic carriers in minority patients, as well as new surgical technology.
Dr. Henry’s Training
Dr. Henry received her medical degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee. She completed a general surgery residency at Orlando Health, where she served as chief resident and received the Best Resident Award. Dr. Henry completed a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, where she received the Junior Scientist Partnership Award for her collaborative work investigating local immunity within breast cancer tissue.

Dr. Henry is certified by the American Board of Surgery. Her professional memberships include the American Society of Breast Surgeons, Society of Surgical Oncology, American College of Surgeons, Association of Women Surgeons, Association of Academic Surgeons and Society of Black Academic Surgeons. She serves as co-chair of the Association of Women Surgeons Communications Committee.
Dr. Henry has delivered presentations on a wide range of topics related to breast cancer.
Outside of work, Dr. Henry enjoys spending time with her family, soccer and spinning.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
