Dr. Darwin Clark is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He uses medical imaging devices such as ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to look inside the body to diagnose illnesses and conditions and recommend treatment.
He also served as chief quality officer for medicine at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Clark was responsible for leading quality improvement, including reducing the number of falls and healthcare-associated infections.
He has cared for patients in Central Florida since 2010. With a focus on quality and patient safety, he strives to make a positive impact in his patients’ lives and to give them his best effort every time.
Dr. Clark’s Training
Dr. Clark earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at University of Texas Southwestern/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He also earned a master’s degree in patient safety leadership from the University of Illinois in Chicago.
About Dr. Clark
Dr. Clark also served as vice chairman for the Collaborative Quality Advisory Council. He trained Orlando Health ORMC executives and administrators in Lean coaching, a methodology that helps reduce patient wait times and process medication more quickly and accurately, among other benefits. He also has served in several leadership roles in various aspects of improving patient safety and quality of care.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. Outside of work, Dr. Clark enjoys traveling, cooking and fine dining
