David Duany, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician in practice with Orlando Health Physician Associates. He is board certified in pediatrics and board eligible in sport medicine.
After completing a BS degree in health sciences at University of South Florida, Tampa, Dr. Duany earned his medical degree from Universidad Autonomus de Guadalajara, Mexico. He completed his pediatrics residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Dr. Duany has over 30 years of experience as a pediatrician. Before joining Orlando Health, he was a physician at All About Kids Pediatrics in Orlando. He also held positions as an assistant director of newborn services at Orlando Regional Medical Center Department of Pediatrics and as a teaching faculty member at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He has been a member of the pediatrics medicine department at Florida State University College of Medicine since 2002.
Dr. Duany is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Academy’s Section on Sports Medicine. He also is a member of the Florida Pediatric Society, the American College of Sports Medicine and the Central Florida Pediatric Society.
