Bio
Dr. Deshanie Govender is a board-certified family medicine physician with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. She is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, and her expertise includes:

Dr. Govender’s Training
Dr. Govender graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of South Florida in St. Petersburg. She received her medical training from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed a family medicine residency at HCA Oak Hill Hospital/USF Morsani Family Medicine in Brooksville, Florida.

Dr. Govender is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her professional memberships include the Florida Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Association of Pediatrics, American College of Physicians and American Academy of Family Physicians.
She founded The Period Project Corp., a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting women’s health, and created a mobile app to support students with disabilities.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
