Bio
Dr. Enrique Bujanda-Morun is a double-board-certified general surgeon with Orlando Health Medical Group Surgery specializing in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He has a clinical interest in hernias, gallstones and gallbladder disease, diseases of the stomach, small and large intestine, colon cancer screening, hemorrhoids, and skin and soft tissue diseases such as skin cancers, lipomas, cysts and abscesses. His areas of expertise include:
- Upper and lower endoscopy
- Abdominal surgery
- Colorectal surgery
- Anorectal surgery
- Hernia care and surgery
- Skin and soft tissue surgery, including lymph node biopsy
- Mediport and Port-a-cath placement and removal
- Feeding tube placement

Dr. Bujanda’s Training
Dr. Bujanda received his medical training from the Universidad de Carabobo in Venezuela. He completed general surgery residencies at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago / Metropolitan Group Hospitals and Brookdale University Medical Center in New York, where he was honored with the general surgery teaching resident and laparoscopic surgery resident awards. Dr. Bujanda completed fellowships in surgical critical care at Boston Medical Center and in minimally invasive surgery and advanced gastrointestinal bariatrics at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.
About Dr. Bujanda
Dr. Bujanda is certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery. His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications, and he has delivered presentations nationally and internationally.
Outside of work, Dr. Bujanda enjoys spending time with family, reading, indoor rowing, traveling and attending concerts. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
