Bio
Fran Firestone is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Institute. She manages inpatient and outpatient care as well as assisting in surgeries, and her expertise includes:
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery
- Total joint replacement
- Sports medicine
- Orthopedic spine surgery
- Neurosurgery
She has cared for patients in Florida since 2012, which has enabled her to develop quality relationships with her patients.
Fran’s Training
Fran received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology and molecular biology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She earned her master's degree in medical science with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
About Fran
Fran is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional memberships include the Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery, American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family, including her sweet puppy Axel.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
