Bio
Dr. Gayathri Kapoor is a pediatrician with Orlando Health Physician Associates. She cares for patients from birth to young adulthood, treating childhood illnesses and injuries. Her expertise includes:

Dr. Kapoor’s Training
Dr. Kapoor earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at The Ohio State University in Columbus and received her her medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, where she was in Sigma Sigma Phi and Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Kapoor completed her residency in pediatrics at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
About Dr. Kapoor
Dr. Kapoor’s professional memberships include the American Academy of Pediatrics, Central Florida Pediatric Society and Physicians Society of Central Florida. She received the Silver Touch point service award for volunteering in 2019 and a Quality Improvement and Clinical Research award in 2018.
Dr. Kapoor’s research has been published in numerous medical journals, and she has presented nationally at medical conferences. She also completed an internship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, focusing on research about multiple endocrine neoplasia.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking different cuisines, traveling, strength training and running Walt Disney World marathons.
Dr. Kapoor is fluent in English and Tamil.
