Dr. Martinez-Briceno received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville and his master’s degree in medical sciences from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He earned his master's degree in biomedical sciences and his degree in osteopathic medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and completed his residency in family medicine at McLaren Oakland-Baldwin Clinic in Pontiac, Michigan.

Before joining Orlando Health, Dr. Martinez-Briceno served as a clinical instructor resident at the Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, going to concerts, football, soccer and cooking.
