Bio
Dr. Hadi Chohan is a physician with Orlando Health Medical Group Lung and Sleep. He is board-certified in three specialties: pulmonary diseases, critical care medicine and internal medicine. With nine years of experience caring for patients in Central Florida, Dr. Chohan specializes in treating:
- Asthma
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Pulmonary vascular disease
- Bronchiectasis
- Interstitial lung disease
- Lung cancer
- Cystic fibrosis
Dr. Chohan was named one of Orlando Magazine’s premier doctors in critical care medicine in 2022 and 2023.
Dr. Chohan’s Training
Dr. Chohan earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at North Carolina State University, where he graduated cum laude. He received his medical training at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, where he was a member of Iota Epsilon Alpha honor society. Dr. Chohan completed an internal medicine residency at East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina. He completed a pulmonary diseases and critical care fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, where he served as chief fellow.
About Dr. Chohan
Dr. Chohan is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. His professional memberships include the American College of Physicians, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, Pulmonary Hypertension Association and American Thoracic Society.
His research focuses on pulmonary arterial hypertension and cystic fibrosis, and his work has been presented and published extensively.
Dr. Chohan is actively involved in teaching the next generation of healthcare providers, including medical students and nurse practitioners, at the University of Central Florida, University of South Florida and Georgetown University.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
