Horacio Lopez is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP-BC) with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. His experience includes:

  • Bone marrow transplants (autologous, allogeneic, cord blood and haploidentical)
  • Bispecific antibodies
  • CAR-T cell therapy
  • Acute leukemia myelodysplastic syndrome treatment
  • Cellular therapy lab (on-site collection facility and cell manipulation)
  • Extracorporeal photopheresis for the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, graft versus host disease and lung transplant rejection
  • Clinical trials

He strives to treat patients like family, using evidence-based treatments while maintaining high ethical and moral standards of care.

Horacio’s Training

Horacio received bachelor’s degrees in biological science from Florida International University in Miami and in nursing from the University of Miami. He earned his Master of Science in nursing (MSN) in the adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner program from Barry University in Miami.
