Bio
Dr. Irfan Imami is a board-certified vascular surgeon with Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. He diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions affecting the arteries and veins, and his expertise includes:
- Carotid artery surgery and stenting
- Minimally invasive aortic aneurysm repair
- Lower and upper extremity arterial revascularization
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm
- Peripheral artery disease
- Aortoiliac occlusive disease
- Long-term hemodialysis access
- Varicose veins
- Leg swelling and pain
- Thoracic aortic aneurysm
- Lower extremity bypass surgery and stent treatment
- Chronic limb ischemia and limb salvage
- Nonhealing wounds to lower extremities
- Iliac vein compression and disease

Dr. Imami’s Training
Dr. Imami earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry at Emory University in Atlanta and received his medical degree from Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. He completed a general surgery residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center in Jacksonville and a vascular surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Imami also received a master's degree in business administration focusing on health sector and policy from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
About Dr. Imami
Dr. Imami is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board certified in general surgery and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Vascular Surgery, American Board of General Surgery, American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine and American Board of Preventive Medicine Hyperbarics.
His professional memberships include the American Medical Association, Association of Pakistani Physicians of North America and Society of Vascular Surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Imami enjoys spending time with family, exploring museums and traveling.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
