Bio
Dr. Jason Atienza is a board-certified physician at Orlando Health and serves as department chief and medical director of Orlando Health Rehabilitation Services, corporate medical director of Orlando Health Rehabilitation Medicine and chief quality officer of the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute.
In his role at Orlando Health Rehabilitation Medicine, Dr. Atienza oversees the administrative areas of the department and manages all members of the care team across multiple facilities. At the Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute, he oversees the quality and safety of all programs and services and collaborates with leadership and medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Dr. Atienza’s Training
Dr. Atienza earned a bachelor’s degree in physiology at the University of California at Santa Barbara, graduating magna cum laude. He received his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Atienza earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in healthcare management at Western Governors University in Millcreek, Utah.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
