Bio
Dr. Javier Gonzalez is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist providing services for pediatric patients at Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. With his specialized training, he is able to diagnose and monitor diseases using non-invasive imaging techniques such as:
- X-rays
- Ultrasounds
- Nuclear medicine scans
- Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans
- Computed tomography (CT) scans
Dr. Gonzalez takes great pride in providing his patients with the highest quality of care. As the father of twins and the son of a pediatric pathologist, he understands the importance of caring for sick children.
Dr. Gonzalez’s Training
Dr. Gonzalez earned his doctor of osteopathy degree (DO) from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. His fellowship in pediatric radiology was performed at Boston Children’s Hospital in Massachusetts, where he was chief fellow.

Dr. Gonzalez is certified in diagnostic radiology with the American Board of Radiology. Outside of work, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys golf, fishing, skiing and spending time with his family. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
