Dr. Jayapal Ramesh is a board-certified gastroenterologist who specializes in advanced endoscopy and treats complex digestive disorders at the Orlando Health Digestive Health Institute Center for Advanced Endoscopy, Research and Education.
By combining advanced diagnostic techniques with minimally invasive therapies using flexible endoscopes, Dr. Ramesh treats patients with complex conditions of the digestive tract. This approach is a safe, effective option and offers patients fewer complications and shorter recovery times.
The center's services include management of pancreatic and biliary diseases, gastrointestinal tumors, bariatric complications, endoscopy in inflammatory bowel disease and third space endoscopy. Notable procedures include:

Dr. Ramesh’s Training
Dr. Ramesh received his medical training at Kilpauk Medical College in Madras, India. He completed an internal medicine residency at University Hospital of South Manchester and a fellowship at Queens Park Hospital, both in the United Kingdom.
About Dr. Ramesh
Dr. Ramesh is a fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Royal College of Physicians. He is a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology and the UK’s General Medical Council.
Research has played a role throughout Dr. Ramesh’s career. He has been a principal investigator or co-investigator in more than 45 studies. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications, and he has contributed chapters to gastroenterology and endoscopy textbooks.
Dr. Ramesh served as a senior lecturer at the University of Liverpool and as a consulting gastroenterologist and advanced endoscopist at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University hospitals.
