Jeffrey Smith, MD, MHS, FACS, is a surgeon with the Breast Care and Melanoma/Sarcoma Centers at Orlando Health Cancer Institute and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He works with patients to create a personalized treatment plan and provide the latest, evidence-based approach for each patient’s specific type and stage of cancer.
Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Florida, College of Medicine in Gainesville where he served as chief surgical resident. He also earned a master’s degree in healthcare quality (MHS) from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
In addition to serving as the chairman of the Orlando Health Surgical Quality Committee, Dr. Smith is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons. He is an assistant clinical professor at Florida State University and a member of the faculty at the University of Central Florida.
