Bio
Dr. Jessica Vaught is a double-board-certified gynecologic surgeon and director of the Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. She joined Orlando Health in 2007 and specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for conditions including:
- Fibroids
- Endometriosis
- Adenomyosis
- Abnormal uterine bleeding
- Pelvic pain
- Uterine anomalies
- Isthmocele repair
- Polyps
- Ovarian cysts
- Adnexal masses
- Interstitial ectopic or cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy
Under her leadership, the Orlando Health Women's Institute has become a nationally designated epicenter training site for robotic surgery. Dr. Vaught has been recognized by Orlando Business Journal as one of 40 outstanding local business professionals under age 40.
Dr. Vaught’s Training
Dr. Vaught earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Bowling Green State University and received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, both in Ohio. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC, and a fellowship at Advanced Laparoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Vaught holds additional certification in da Vinci robotic surgery.
About Dr. Vaught
Dr. Vaught is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecology surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
She also serves as an expert reviewer of other doctors performing robotic surgery through the C-SATS performance review and training program.
