Jon Wiese, MD, is a practicing surgeon with the Orlando Health Medical Group Surgery. He is board certified in general surgery.

Dr. Wiese earned his medical degree and bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska. He completed his general surgery residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Having served the Central Florida area since 1988, he has 30 years of experience as a surgeon.

Dr. Wiese is skilled and accomplished in both minimally invasive and traditional surgical procedures. He treats patients of all ages who are in need of laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery, breast surgery, abdominal surgery, hernia repairs and other procedures.
He works directly with referring physicians to improve the quality of life for patients.

Dr. Wiese has been recognized multiple years as one of the Top Doctors by Orlando magazine.
