Dr. Joseph Temperato is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. He specializes in injuries caused by trauma and sports-related knee and shoulder injuries. His expertise includes:

Dr. Temperato’s Training
Dr. Temperato earned a bachelor’s degree with honors at Niagara University in New York and received his osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, New Jersey, an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia and an orthopedic trauma fellowship at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Temperato served as chief resident and orthopedic chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Temperato’s research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals.
He has served on the medical crew for the football teams at the University of Missouri, Central Methodist University and Millville High School.

Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
