Dr. Joseph Wasselle Jr. is a board-certified surgeon with Orlando Health Medical Group Vascular Surgery in Melbourne. He treats patients with complex diseases of the arteries, veins and lymphatic system, and his expertise includes:

Dr. Wasselle’s Training
Dr. Wasselle graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He received his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he completed a general surgery residency and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Wasselle completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Wasselle is board certified in surgery by the American Board of Surgery. His professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons and Society for Vascular Surgery.
His research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has presented his work at national conferences.
Outside of work, Dr. Wasselle enjoys spending time with family, boating, rowing, skiing and traveling.
