Dr. Julie Saranita is a board-certified pain medicine physician and anesthesiologist with Orlando Spine Center, which is a multidisciplinary collaboration between Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute. She cares for patients to alleviate chronic pain, and her specialties include:

  • Regenerative medicine (bone marrow concentrate and platelet-rich plasma injections)
  • Minimally invasive lumbar decompression
  • Spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation
  • Kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures
  • Nerve block

Dr. Saranita’s Training

Dr. Saranita earned a bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of California in Riverside and received her osteopathic medicine degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. She completed an anesthesiology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a fellowship in interventional and cancer pain medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Saranita is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Her professional memberships include the American Society of Anesthesiology, Florida Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and American Society of Regional Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Saranita has participated in dozens of Phase 3 clinical research trials and is a founding faculty member of the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exercising and traveling.
