Dr. Dean Arnaoutakis is a board-certified vascular and general surgeon with Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health. He has more than 15 years of experience treating patients with complex diseases of the arteries and veins. His expertise includes:

Dr. Arnaoutakis’ Training
Dr. Arnaoutakis earned a bachelor’s degree at Columbia University in New York, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Weill Medical College in New York and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Arnaoutakis completed his general surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he served as chief resident in his final year, and a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at Harvard University / Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He also received advanced training in endovascular aortic surgery in Lille, France. Dr. Arnaoutakis earned a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Cornell University.

Dr. Arnaoutakis is certified in general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. His professional memberships include the Florida Vascular Society, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, Society for Vascular Surgery and Southern Association for Vascular Surgery and Vascular.
He has been named a top doctor by Tampa Bay Magazine for several years.
Dr. Arnaoutakis holds a physician-sponsored investigational device exemption from the FDA to repair complex aortic aneurysms using custom-made endografts.
Dr. Arnaoutakis is the principal investigator in multiple clinical trials, and his work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals and book chapters. He is a frequent presenter at national conferences.
He played Division I soccer as goalkeeper and captain at Columbia University and received All-Ivy League, Academic All-Ivy League and Academic All-America honors.
Outside of work, Dr. Arnaoutakis enjoys cooking, painting, soccer and tennis.
