Katherine Fry is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She serves on a multidisciplinary team that cares for inpatient cardiology patients. Her experience includes:
- Cardiac intensive care
- Emergency care
- Preventive care
- Internal medicine
Katherine is passionate about ensuring patients understand what is going on with their health. She believes in having productive talks about healthy lifestyle choices to boost their overall well-being.
Katherine’s Training
Katherine received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She earned a master’s degree in medical science, physician associate program, from the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut.
About Katherine
Katherine worked as an EMT before pursuing her physician assistant studies, which helped her learn how to keep patients calm through difficult situations. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, trying new foods and spending time at the beach.
