Bio
Kayleigh Hunt is a board-certified physician assistant with Orlando Health Medical Group Surgery. She assists surgeons and helps patients before, during and after general and minimally invasive procedures. She has experience in neurosurgery and cardiothoracic surgery, and her duties include:
- Caring for surgical wounds
- Performing medical procedures
- General and minimally invasive surgeries
- Prescribing medications
- Placing and removing staples, sutures and drains
- Coordinating patient care
- Evaluating patients
Kayleigh prides herself on being thorough, personable and treating her patients as if they were family.
Kayleigh’s Training
Kayleigh earned a bachelor’s degree in cellular, molecular and physiological biology from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. She received her master’s of physician assistant studies (MPAS) from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Kayleigh is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, she enjoys singing and spending time with her husband and dogs.
