Dr. Krithika Krishnarao is a board-certified and fellowship-trained cardiologist at the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She specializes in:

Dr. Krishnarao’s Training
Dr. Krishnarao earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She received her medical training from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania. Dr. Krishnarao completed an internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where also she served as chief resident. She then completed fellowships in cardiovascular diseases and advanced heart failure and transplantation at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.
About Dr. Krishnarao
Dr. Krishnarao is board-certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, advanced heart failure and transplantation, and echocardiography by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and her other professional memberships include the American Society of Transplantation, Heart Failure Society of America, International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, and American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Krishnarao has been involved with research at the Mayo Clinic and Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, Louisiana, where she was a staff physician and associate program director of the advanced heart failure and transplantation fellowship program.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and German Shepherd. Dr. Krishnarao also likes traveling with her family, learning about other cultures, rowing and hiking.
She is fluent in English and Tamil.
