Bio
Dr. Kyle Cox is a fellowship-trained orthopedic and sports medicine surgeon with Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. His services include:

Dr. Cox’s experience as an athlete helps him relate to his patients. He believes the patient always comes first, and he aims to get to know them, learn about their goals and develop a care plan to achieve them.
Dr. Cox’s Training
Dr. Cox earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, graduating cum laude. He received his medical degree from the UCF College of Medicine and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and a fellowship in sports medicine orthopedic surgery at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
About Dr. Cox
Dr. Cox is a former UCF soccer player and was honored as a men’s soccer scholar of the year. He helped build a well for a community in Costa Rica and provided medical care and spiritual support in Trinidad and Tobago.
His professional memberships include the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association and Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Outside of work, Dr. Cox enjoys spending time with his wife and children, soccer, golf and traveling.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions, shown above, from our nationally-recognized Press-Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
