Bio
Laura Berg is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute. Her experience includes:
- Orthopedic trauma
- Total joint replacement
- Multi-ligament knee reconstructions
She believes in educating her patients and their family members so they understand their diagnosis and treatment options. She also values continuity in care so patients can develop a relationship with their providers.
Laura’s Training
Laura received her bachelor's degree in biology and graduated cum laude from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. She earned her master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she graduated summa cum laude.
About Laura
She joined Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic in 2018. Laura has been a surgical assistant and has performed sideline medical assistance for high school sports and was a medical records superuser. Laura serves as fellowship director for Orlando Health’s APP Fellowship Program and also works in the walk-in clinic.
Laura is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Florida Society of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys marathon running, triathlons and baking.

Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
The comments are submitted by patients and reflect their views and opinions. The comments are not endorsed by and do not necessarily reflect the views of Orlando Health.
Ratings may not be present for certain physicians of Orlando Health Physician Group and Orlando Health Physician Associates because:
- The physician has not yet met the minimum number of 30 patient satisfaction surveys to be eligible for display.
- They may be a researcher or type of provider that does not see patients.
- They may practice in a specialty or office that has not yet implemented the specified surveys used for these ratings.
