Lauren Ellicott is a certified acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP) with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute. She specializes in general cardiology care with clinical interests in heart failure and valvular disease. Lauren has been treating patients for more than a decade, and her skills include:
- Examining and diagnosing patients
- Managing medical care
- Providing patient education
- Cardiovascular disease prevention
- Congestive heart failure and pulmonary hypertension
Lauren believes that listening closely to her patients leads to better rapport and improved clinical outcomes. She works diligently to provide patient-centered care.
Lauren’s Training
Lauren received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, with a specialization in clinical nursing, from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), with additional training as an acute care nurse practitioner, from Maryville University of St. Louis in Missouri.
