Lauren Rivera is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, specializing in care for hematology oncology patients. She has more than nine years of experience, and her specialties include:

Lauren is a bone marrow donor whose care philosophy focuses on open communication with patients and a proactive, holistic approach to cancer treatment.
Lauren received her bachelor’s degree in molecular biology and microbiology from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and her master’s degree in medical sciences from Nova Southeastern University’s physician assistant program.
Lauren is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Florida Board of Medicine. She also has experience as a qualified clinical trials sub-investigator.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys weight training, bicycling, cooking nutritionally balanced meals and volunteering in the community.
She is fluent in English and Spanish.
