Leslie Clark, MSN, APRN, AANP-CE, is a board-certified senior nurse practitioner with Orlando Health Women's Institute Center for Urogynecology. She diagnoses and treats acute and chronic gynecological conditions, performs annual gynecological and breast examinations, provides patient education with an emphasis on prevention and early detection of disease and more.

Services at the Center for Urogynecology

Leslie and the team at the Center for Urogynecology understand women's bodies are complex and require expert preventative care and prompt, expert diagnosis and treatment of disease and disorders. She provides a full range of care for gynecological conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis and abnormal bleeding.

Urinary incontinence issues are common after childbirth and with aging. Some women also experience fecal incontinence and difficulties due to the shifting or bulging of the vagina, bladder, rectum and other structures. While these topics may be uncomfortable to discuss, Leslie offers compassionate care for these conditions, including a wide range of options from medication to physical therapy to minimally invasive surgery for repair and relief.

When surgery is needed, the center recommends a minimally invasive approach whenever possible and uses the da Vinci® Surgical System to perform routine and more advanced procedures. As a result, patients typically experience less pain and shorter recovery times.

About Leslie Clark

She earned her master's degree in nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Central Florida. Today, Leslie is certified as an advanced practice nurse practitioner by the State of Florida and a family nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

She has been with the center since 2013 and has a specific interest in hormone therapy for women experiencing perimenopause, postmenopause and sexual dysfunction.

For nearly a decade, Leslie volunteered her time to Shepard's Hope, a free clinic for Central Florida's uninsured. Here she provided preventative care and evaluated, diagnosed and treated men and women with common and complex conditions and illnesses.
