Lindsey Neely is an oncology nurse practitioner in the thoracic/head and neck medical oncology specialty section of the Orlando Health Cancer Institute. She works alongside the oncology multidisciplinary team that develops and provides advanced innovative treatment plans for cancer patients.
She joined the Orlando Health Cancer Institute in 2008 and has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experience in:
- Providing symptom management, palliative care and end-of-life care
- Interpreting diagnostic tests
- Administering chemotherapy
Lindsey is active in clinical research, serving as a sub-investigator on thoracic/head and neck clinical trials.
Lindsey’s Training
Lindsey graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a Master of Science in nursing, both from the University of South Florida in Tampa. During that time, she earned a leadership award for her work.

She has a passion for patient advocacy, team-building and mentoring and has served as a preceptor to new registered nurses and nursing students.
Lindsey is licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) by the State of Florida and is certified as an oncology nurse practitioner by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation.
